·        Hydrotherapy

Take a bucket and fill it with water. Put some ice cubes and rose water in it then put your feet in it for 10-15 minutes before going to sleep. This is because the veins of our feet are connected to different body parts and it stimulates the blood flow, causes the veins to constrict and removes the toxins from the blood. It also helps in improving the quality of your sleep.

·        Rice water

In ayurveda, rice water is also known as tandulodaka and it is highly effective in reducing body heat. It is the natural body cooler. Take 10 gm raw rice, pour 60-70 ml of water and leave it for 6-7 hours. After that Drink that water as it is. You can drink it 30 minutes before meals. Twice a day is more than enough.

·        Sandalwood (chandan) paste

Take sandalwood powder and rose water. Mix it and apply it on your forehead. It helps in calming your mind and improves concentration. If you have any skin related issues like pimples, rashes etc then you can apply it on that as well.

·        Shitali breath

It is a yogic technique by which you can instantly cool down your body. The following are the steps to do that:

Step 1.

Sit comfortably with back straight.

Step 2.

Keep both of your hands on your knees.

Step 3.

Bring your tongue out, fold it on the sides like a tube.

Step 4.

Take a long deep inhalation through the tongue.

Step 5.

After inhalation, close your mouth and exhale with both the nostrils.

Step 6.

Repeat it for 8-10 times.

Choose your food wisely. Very salty, spicy and sour except lemon and amla (Indian gooseberry), eggs, chicken, meat, packaged food etc Increases heat in the body.

                                              On the other hand, sweet and bitter food cools down the body. But do not use white refined sugar instead you can use thread mishri, jaggery powder, dates powder, brown sugar. Drink water but avoid refrigerated water instead use mud pots. Do not eat dry fruits but you can soak it in water before eating it. Eat muskmelon, watermelon, cucumber, bitter guord, coconut water, pure ghee etc.
